Solid wood worktops that are easy to look after?
I really want to have solid walnut worktop but i know they require looking after to keep looking lovely and my partner doesnt think i will do this!! Is there a different type of wood that will be pretty resistent? Or what other alternatives?
Solid wood of any sort will need much more care than other countertop materials, no matter what finish is on it. They are particularly harmed by excess moisture so I wouldn't put it anywhere near a sink. Also, always use a cutting board when using knives because knife cuts will scar the finish and/or the wood. Ideas for woods? No problem-
