How to prevent Cat from getting on Dining Room Table?

My 1 year old cat just recently started getting up on the dining room table (which is very nice and solid wood). If I'm at home she doesn't get up there but I've come home to find her hair and other 'cat particles' on the table. One time over the weekend I actually came home and felt the spot that I thought she had been on and indeed it was warm from her body. How can I prevent her from getting up there and laying?
